About SustainaBIM 2025

The Biocultural Education and Research Programme launched the SustainaBIM schools’ competition in 2021 to engage the youth in discussion and activity around topics of sustainability in Barbados in relation to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as stated by United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).

SustainaBIM 2025 will focus on how we can ‘Turn It Around” by focusing on SDG 2, 4 and 16 as outlined below. The competition will focus on digital advocacy and creating digital cards with a Call-To-Action (CTA). Each entrant is required to create 1 (one) digital card representing their perspectives on one or more of the 3 SDGs outlined below.

Each card will have a digital image as the front and written text as the back of the card with the CTA. The imagery and text MUST be the entrants own original work and must express their views on the SDG/s selected.
