This course focuses on the plant commonly called Aloes but scientifically called Aloe vera. Participants will be exposed to the wide biocultural traditions of the plant, its healing properties and practical uses.

Aloes has many medicinal applications and is a staple in our community for maintaining health. It is often used for cuts, burns and as a cleanser.
