Join the Director of the Biocultural Education and Research Programme on an exciting walk to discover plants of medicinal value along the East Coast Road in St. Andrew. We will assemble at Barclays National Park and walk along the sandy areas and roadside to discover plants that are salt tolerant and hence of interesting phytochemistry. Each participant will be provided with a plant chart that will be used to identify species, and short talks will be given for each plant identified.
There is a small donation of 20 BBD which can be given on arrival at site. We need your registration so that we can provide adequate materials for the plant discovery and to secure your contact to provide any additional information. We look forward to seeing you on February 21st, 3-5 pm.
